Chinese delegation visits Rijeka Port Authority

A Chinese delegation, headed by Minister Wang Jiaruia, on Sunday visited the Rijeka Port Authority (LUR) and held talks with LUR director Bojan Hlaca.

The Chinese delegation was on a visit to Croatia at the invitation of the Croatian Parliament.

Hlaca said that Minister Wang was interested in LUR business activities and development plans.

The Chinese delegation is interested in the Rijeka transport route which is the fastest and cheapest way for Chinese goods to reach the markets of central and southeast Europe, Hlaca said.

The Rijeka Port Authority, the Port of Rijeka and the Adriatic Gate company were presented at a recent international fair of transport and logistics in Shanghai.
