ACI Marina Rovinj wins REXPO award for best investment project in 2019
The project of ACI Marina Rovinj's reconstruction is the recipient of a special award of the REXPO fair for the best investment project in 2019.
The award was presented to ACI management board chairman Kristijan Pavicat at the opening of the 8th edition of the investment projects fair REXPO 2019.
Pavic said that by investing in the reconstruction of the Rovinj Marina, ACI had shown the path it plans to take in the future, adding that it was profitable to invest in nautical tourism.
The award was presented by Maritime, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Oleg Butkovic, who said the government was investing maximum effort to improve the investment climate and cut red tape.
The minister recalled that investments in the transport sector amount to approximately €3 billion, most of which is invested in roads. He also announced large investments in the rail infrastructure.
For the eighth year in a row, the biggest fair for investment projects, REXPO, is held in Zagreb on November 26 and 27. Each year the fair, aimed at strengthening the business climate, attracts more than 1,500 visitors.
