"3. Maj": presented tanker built for the "Uljanik Plovidba" shipment company

The tanker for transport of the crude oil and petroleum products has been presented in Rijeka's "3. Maj" shipyard, this ship is introduced as the world's top product, which contracted with the price of 33 milion EUR will be delivered to the "Uljanik Plovidba" shipment company on Tuesday, March 9 2010.

Tanker was made with exceptional efforts in a difficult financial situation, but it was confirmed that this is a product that the world should be preserved and that represents the maximum of technological achievement, said the CEO of "3. Maj" Edi Kucan.

Tanker capacity is 52,725 tons and the speed is up to 15 knots. This is a tanker in a series of 12 ships, of which four will be built in the Rijeka shipyard.

Kucan said that in the construction of the ship was involved 130 domestic manufacturers.
